Exodea Europe Consulting Limited was contracted by Údarás na Gaeltachta to prepare the Strategic Plan for the development of Mórtas Pobail – The Dingle Workhouse Project.
The €17 million development involved the acquisition from the HSE, redevelopment and repurposing of the redundant former Dingle Hospital Complex.
Working with a team of conservation architects, structural engineers and interpretive designers, Exodea Europe Consulting provided social, economic and business development consultancy services necessary for the integrated development of the former Dingle Workhouse Project Campus, Dingle, Co. Kerry.”

Integrated Project Design
The integrated project was designed to provide flexible enterprise spaces, an education/training space, and the creation of creative/maker spaces.
Additionally, Ceiliúradh Chorca Dhuibhne/Dingle Peninsula Discovery Gateway Visitor Attraction was provided in the redevelopment package.
This was designed to offer an international-quality indoor attraction for visitors and should encourage people to stay longer in the area by promoting the wider culture and heritage attractions of Corca Dhuibhne.
Exodea Consulting was responsible for developing complete applications for the Fáilte Ireland Platforms for Growth funding programme (tourism elements) and the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (enterprise elements).
